5 BILLION DOLLAR WORTH REFINERY INVESTMENT IN IZMIR

Aliağa Star Refinery which belongs to Socar – Turcas Group  was broken ground by the attendance of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Azerbaijani President İlham Aliyev .

It is declared that the refinery which its production starting date is planning 2015  will be established by 5 billion dollars investment and in the construction phase 10 thousand people , in the production phase a thousand people will be employed.

Erdoğan stated that they performed spectacular ground-breaking ceremony in Izmir and pointed out that 5 billion-dollar investment of Star Refinery is the biggest investment which carried out in one location and it will change the face of Izmir, will give strength to their 2023 targets.
