HMT ANNOUNCED OPENING OF ITS TURKEY FACILITY

HMT Tank Inc. USA, a leading name in oil industry worldwide, proudly announces the opening in Izmir Turkey of its newest fabricating facility. This facility consists of approximately 20,000 square feet of manufacturing and warehousing space.

Located within the “ESBAS” Aegean Free Trade Zone, this manufacturing plant is outfitted with the latest equipment for producing all HMT's products for installation on above ground storage tanks, including Aluminum Geodesic Domes, Internal Floating Roofs, Emission Control Devices, Floating Roof Sealing and Drain Systems for the Petroleum and Chemical Industries and Fixed and Floating Covers and a complete suite of products for the Water and Wastewater Sector. This ultra-modern facility is designed in preparation for future expansion as the demand grows.

HMT selected Turkey for its strategic location bridging Europe with Asia and the Middle-East with excellent sea, air and road connections. Similarly, Turkey is also uniquely at the crossroads of oil and gas movements in the region. Therefore, it is a natural center for providing its clients in Turkey, CIS Countries, Eastern Europe, Northern Africa and the Gulf Countries with its products within a minimum delivery time and logistical ease.

Besides providing quality products, HMT will also be contributing the Turkish economy while creating employment opportunities and purchasing raw and semi-finished materials from domestic market.

The opening ceremony was taken place in 21st of October by the attendance of Minister of Energy and National Resources Mr. Taner Yıldız, the Amerikan Ambassador Mr. Francis Ricciardone, Governor of Izmir Mr. M. Cahit Kıraç, Mayor of Metropolitan Izmir Mr. Aziz Kocaoğlu and CEO of HTM  Mr. George Gregory.
