ORGANIZATION INFORMATION OF KEMALPAŞA ORGANIZED INDUSTRIAL ZONE

• 60 Hectare-Area have been projected as OIZ in the investment programme published in the Official Gazette no. 20734 bis dated 23.12.1990..
• It was announced by the statement of Undersecretariat of State Planning Organization no. dated 30.04.1992 that 260 hectare-zone marked as the industrial zone in the 1/5000 scale Kemalpaşa Nazım Construction Plan is deemed suitable as the first Kemalpaşa OIZ site.
• The first Committee of Entreprising was gathered on 26.04.1993
• Expansion of the treatment activity was demanded by Aegean Region Chamber of Commerce. Provided that there shall be no demand for the treatment facility and expropriation expenses through the statement of Undersecretariat of State Planning Organization no. 3789 dated 30.07.1993, 1st OIZ was increased to 410 hectares by adding 150 hectares to 260 hectare-area.
• Upon the need felt by the importance of the limitation of the current industry structuring except the 1st OIZ, 800-hectare area was examined as the 1st OIZ Expansion site by the Site Selection Commission on 13.04.1999.
• It was notified that our legal personality was registered officially on the OIZ registry book by the 191 registration number through the statement no. 10420 dated 14.08.2001 of T.R Industry and Trade Ministry.
• In parallel with the positive opinions of the organizations within the scope of 1st Expansion OIZ Site Selection, 270-hectare area became a part of the OIZ area through the statement no. 6841 dated 20.05.2002 of T.R Ministry of Industry and Trade.
• Within the scope of Site Selection carried out in 1999 and in line with the relevant opinions of the interested organizations, 620-Hectare area became a part of OIZ area through the statement no. 6841 dated 14.06.2004 of Ministry of Industry and Trade.
• In the current 1300 hectare OIZ area, with the legal personality authority no. 265 granted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, operations and procedures are being carried out within the scope OIZ law no. 4562.
• The distance of 1030-Hectare Kemalpaşa Organized Industrial Zone(KOSBİ) which is one of the largest Organized Industrial Zones in the country to important centres:

İİzmir-Ankara Highway (E 96) passes through the zone.
Additional line manufacturing which will connect KOSBİ to International Railway Line is about to be completed.
