Buca Clothing Organized Industrial Zone was founded as an Aegean Clothing Industrialists Land Construction Cooperative with the contributions of Association of Aegean Clothing Industrialist and the Municipality of Buca in the county of Tinaztepe, district of Buca, İzmir in 1996. Parcels have been allocated for  the members through the arrangements made on the construction plans and thus parcels of each member have been determined. Some of the members whose parcel have been determined completed the construction of factories and commenced operating.

Buca Aegean Clothing Organized Industrial Zone gained a legal personality with the approval of Ministry of Industry and Trade on 08.02.2002 and with the registration number of 198 it became Buca Aegean Clothing Organized Industrial Zone. It also led the way in Turkey by becoming textile expertise organized industrial zone.

Organized Industrial Zone is made up of 3 parts, 500 decares and 151 parcels. As our zone is 2 km away from the Aydın freeway, 10 km away from the Airport, 10 km away from the İzmir port, it has an easy transportation. Creation of 138 confection factories in our zone is targeted. 

The number of plant construction have been rapidly increasing by adding the new ones to these factories set up on 30 parcels. Factories are modern businesses founded upon confection manufacturing and they don’t produce pollution or chemical waste. They currently employ 3500 people in the Organized Industrial Zone and make an annual export of 85.000.000 Euros.

When 138 factories commence operating, it is estimated that around 40.000 people are going to be employed and  an annual export of 1.000.000.000 Euros will be made.  We are extremely proud to be creating such an employment field in our country where the unemployment is constantly on the rise. Furthermore, some of the factories operating in our zone made their ways among the top 100 tax record holders and thus achieved a phenomenal success.
