In addition, the sectors listed below will also benefit from the incentives:
1- Investment types covered by Specialist Organized Industrial Zones established by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce may benefit from regional incentives (except for zones in Istanbul) even if they are not amongst the selected sectors operating in the region.
2- Investments related to cargo and/or passenger transportation by air can benefit from the regional incentives available in İzmir. Meanwhile, air taxi operations are not eligible for any incentives.
3- Railway investments by private sector for inter-city cargo and/or passenger transportation, as well as railway investments for local cargo transportation are eligible for incentives in all regions. In cases where
transportation activities are available in more than one region, expenditures related to the procurement of carriers are covered within the scope of incentives granted to the region with the lowest development level.
4- Heating/cooling investments for housing, carried out through geothermal energy and/or power plant waste energy, may enjoy regional incentives.
Investments eligible for region and sector-based incentives in İzmir are eligible for the following incentive measures:
Reduced Tax Rate for projects qualified under regional incentives for İzmir is applied in accordance with the following Table:

Investments qualified for regional incentives may be allocated government land free of charge.
