Enercon

Founded in Germany in 1984, the wind equipment manufacturer Enercon entered in the Turkish market in 1998. 3 Enercon turbines were used in Çeşme RES (1,5 MW). Çeşme RES is the first RES project of Turkey as well as a subsidiary of Demirer Energy which was launched in 1998. Following this project, Enercon Service Company was established to take over the service and the installation of the turbines in 1999. In 2002, Enercon started producing rotor blades for turbines in İzmir and has been producing concrete wind tower parts since 2009 in İzmir. The Company has supported the establishment of a domestic industry in these sectors by encouraging the production of parts such as steel towers in domestic facilities. More

TPI Composites

One of the world's largest composite wing producers American Tillotson Pearson Inc. (TPI Composites, Inc), was established in United States, Arizona in 1968. TPI first started wind turbine blade production in 1999 and has also been operating in Sasalı, İzmir since March 2012. In this 275.000 m2 area, giant composite blades which are used for wind turbines are produced. More

Lansinoh

Having 3000 employees, the US based company Lansinoh, a subsidiary of Japanese Pigeon Corporation, will produce single and double breast milk feeding pumps, manual breast milk feeding pumps, feeding bottles and pacifiers. The factory is expected to operate at full capacity until the end of 2016 and it will employ 100 people. More

Fokker Elmo

Fokker Elmo was founded in Netherlands in 1911. The company develops and manufactures high technology products for the aerospace sector and has been operating in Turkey since 1989.The number of employees in the Group has reached up to 4900 worldwide. Kale Pratt & Whitney

Founded in USA in 1957, Pratt & Whitney established Kale Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Engine Company in 2011 in collaboration with the Kale Group. The company which was established with %51 participation of Kale Group and %49 Pratt&Whitney operates mainly on aircraft engine parts and sub assembly groups. The production of the F135, which is the engine of the most advanced fighter aircraft F35, is planned for the first years. Kale Pratt & Whitney, the first phase investment in the Aegean Free Zone, consists of a 20.000 meter square facility built on a 100.000 meter square area as well as highly advanced machines and equipment. PFW Aerospace

Operating in the Global Aerospace sector in Germany, PFW Aerospace entered the Turkish market in 2003. PFW Aerospace Group provides jobs for 1.700 people at their factories in Germany Speyer and Aegean Free Zone. Founded in 1911 in Denver (USA), Gates is a leading manufacturer of high tech rubber belts and hoses for industrial, hydraulic, agricultural and automotive applications. The MAHLE Group is one of the 30 largest companies in the automotive supply industry worldwide. In 2008, the new regional warehouse of MAHLE Aftermarket in Izmir, begins operations. Kansai Altan Boya Sanayi A.Ş. is a paint company with an annual production capacity of 60 thousand tons, situated on a 100 thousand m² land in İzmir.
